NDIS provides reasonable transport funding if participants cannot use public transport due to their disability. In this scenario, the participant receives funding to pay the provider to transport the person to an activity. For example: travelling to and from work or appointments or community access or visiting friends and family.

The transport funding if only to use for the participant and cannot be used for transporting participant’s carer, family members around.
